Willena “W” Shelley Capps, 90, died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Marion County, a daughter of the late William Daniel and Meekie Lula Shelley. Mrs. Capps was predeceased by her husband, Robert F. “Doc” Capps; a son, Robert Louis Capps; six brothers, Henry Shelley, Leonard Shelley, Jimmy Shelley, Lonnie Shelley, David Earl Shelley and Ben Shelley and a sister, Lucille Shelley Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Faye C. Harrelson of Mullins, two sisters, Dolly Daniel of Mullins and Betty S. Jackson of Jacksonville, Florida; four grandchildren, Richie (Donna Lynn) Harrelson of Mullins, Louis (Sheila) Harrelson of Marion, Robin Lynn Blackmon of Baltimore, Maryland, and Meekie Faye Shiflett of Baltimore, five great-grandchildren, Sidney Harrelson, Emma Louis Harrelson, Robert Britt, Preston Britt, and Justin Shiflett, and one great-great-grandchild, Aubrey Grace Shiflett. The family would like to thank Lillie Ceo for the special care given to their loved one. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial at Devotion Gardens. Memorials may be made to Mullins First Baptist Church, P.O.
